Our Team

Scott Pugh
Scott Pugh is the founder and director of Love Cleveland®. Scott holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Kentucky Christian University and a Master’s from the University of Akron. He is the author of three books, including Children Matter.
Even before starting Love Cleveland®, Scott has worked with kids his entire career. He spent seven years working with children in the lower Appalachia region of Kentucky, and another six years in Clinton, Ohio.
Scott has been married to his wife Vanessa for 17 years and they have two amazing kids. They love playing kickball with all the neighborhood kids and watching movies. In his free time, Scott enjoys working out, riding mountain bikes, and spending time with Vanessa.

Vanessa Pugh
Vanessa grew up in North Hill, a neighborhood of Akron, Ohio. She is passionate about leadership development and empowering people to reach their fullest potential. Nothing brings her happiness like watching those around her succeed. Those passions serve her well when volunteering with Love Cleveland®
She loves watching documentaries, reading autobiographies, doing adventurous things with her family, and she is the self-proclaimed Cleveland Cavs Team Mom.

Staci Dombrowski
Staci grew up in a small town outside of the Warren/Youngstown area called Champion, Ohio. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Kent State and a Master’s from Baldwin Wallace. Before joining our team, Staci worked for many years as an inventory control buyer. She got involved with Love Cleveland® in 2014, but Staci’s passion for children was sparked while serving at a Children Matter® sponsored event called “Summerfest” a few years ago. Since then, she has joined our staff and she’s looking forward to finding new ways to make children matter.
Staci loves to bake and read, and you will almost always find her holding a good cup of coffee. Staci and her husband Matt were married in the summer of 2017. They enjoy several hobbies together; including traveling, cooking, and camping.

Nate Diamond
Nate grew up in South Euclid and graduated from Brush High School, where he met his wife Amani. They both went on to graduate from Cincinnati Christian University. Before working with Love Cleveland®, Nate worked as a handyman and events manager.
Nate loves to be outside camping, biking, running, fishing, and golfing. He also enjoys watching his favorite sitcom, Everybody Loves Raymond and tries not to miss an episode of Wheel of Fortune or Jeopardy. Nate also loves to go on coffee and movie dates with his wife, and enjoys playing and writing music with her.
